Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the EquiTrust mobile application or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

EquiTrust is operated by EquiTrust ("Company", "we", "us"). Questions may be directed to hello@equitrust.app.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to:

• •Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• •Provide accurate information when creating an account.
• •Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others.
• •Not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
• •Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid features are available via in-app purchases processed through Apple's App Store. All billing and refund policies are subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

Apple Pay is supported. No credit card is required to download or use the free tier of the app.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content) are and remain the exclusive property of EquiTrust. You retain ownership of content you upload, but grant EquiTrust a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. User Content

You are solely responsible for the content you upload, including photos, videos, and text. By uploading content, you confirm that you have all necessary rights to do so. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. EquiTrust does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Any training guidance or insights provided by the app are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional veterinary or equestrian advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EquiTrust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Finland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
